Installing AjeraNote: Only if you have not yet installed a 5.0.00 or later version of Ajera, follow the instructions for Installing Ajera 5x. Follow these instructions to install Ajera: 1. Ensure that all users have exited Ajera. 2. From the server where Ajera is installed, or if running standalone, from the computer where Ajera is installed, go to the Windows Start menu, and select All Programs > Ajera > Ajera Server Administration. The Ajera Server Administration window appears.
3. On the Tasks menu, select Update Ajera. The Ajera installation displays status messages as it proceeds. Do not close any of these windows until the update is complete. Warning! If you are using Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008 and have User Account Control enabled, you must answer any security messages within two minutes or the installation is aborted and you must start the process again. 4. When the update is complete, click Finish. Note: Ajera automatically creates a backup of your data in Ajera > Backups > PreviousVersion.bak. |
